OS.Members -Volunteers Needed March 3 and March 11

This coming Saturday, March 3  and the following Sunday, March 11 the 
Oakland Strokes is participating in Summer Camp Fairs. We will have a booth 
with brochures for our Summer Rowing Camp Program.

The Summer Camps are a great recruiting resource for the Strokes so we want 
to take advantage of this opportunity to publicize our program.

We need a couple of parents to staff the booths on those days. You would 
need to answer any questions and let people know about our excellent program 
(summer and school year).

March 3--location Walnut Creek--10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
March 11--location Scottish Rite Temple--(across from Lake Merritt) 1 p.m. 
to 4 p.m.

If your child attended one of the Strokes Summer Camps, that would be 
great--but it's not necessary for you to represent the program. Phil 
Caruthers, Board member and parent of former Strokes, will be there but 
needs some assistance. (Current Strokes athletes are welcome to staff the 
booths as well!)

I realize there is a novice regatta on March 3, so I hope there are some 
varsity parents available that day. The regatta on March 11 at JLAC should 
be over by 1 p.m. so it will not interfere with the Fair.

If we get several volunteers, we can do early and late shifts. Please
