Hello Strokes families!
Happy fourth of July!
Saturday we would like to have a work party at the boathouse. We need to
add a section to a barge, which will take a number of people to carry.
Also, we have to do some movement of equipment around the boathouse and
would appreciate any help. We can give athletes service hours and we can
use as many people as will show up. If you would like to help, please
e-mail me to confirm, so we can figure out what projects we can plan.
Next week is our second week of summer camp. We need lots of volunteers, so
if you are available you are welcome to come down Monday through Friday,
from 9 to 12 or 1 to 4, or bring a lunch and stay all day. We would really
appreciate the help, even if you can't come every day, let us know when you
can be there. Friday we will feed all the volunteers lunch. It is fun and
we all have a great time. Get your athlete out of the house for the day!!
If we have extra volunteers we do a bit of sculling and they can work out.
