Strokes Families:As you may know, we desperately need someone--like you--to=
 step forward and take on the Treasurer position. We've announced Susan Dag=
ue's departure (her daughter graduated this past June) and our need for a r=
eplacement since the beginning of the year. We've contacted many of you abo=
ut this position. We do have a parent who has offered to take on many of th=
e day-to-day tasks associated with the Treasurer job, but we still need som=
eone to manage, monitor and oversee the function. Susan Dague, fabulous out=
going Treasurer, has offered help with the transition and provide guidance.=
 We have a budget meeting this Thursday at 7:30 p.m. to establish the comin=
g year's budget. It would be great if the person willing to act as Treasure=
r could attend this meeting. If we don't find someone, we will be budgeting=
 in the cost (and impact on fees) of hiring someone to handle the Treasurer=
 responsibilities. Please call with any questions or let me know if you wil=
l volunteer for this very important job. Remember, the Strokes is run by pa=
rent volunteers and your involvement is crucial to our success.Thank you!Ma=
