Dear Stokes Parents,
I am assisting the team with organizing the ordering of Rugby team shirts
for all the rowers who want to purchase them. In order to get them for the team
by Cj's all the rowers were given an order form at today's meeting. The
price per shirt is $65.00 . Checks or credit cards are being taken. If a credit
card is used the following information is needed to run them thru.
Card number
exp: month and year
Mailing address that statement is sent to and zip code
If payment is by check, please make payable to:HLW Workspace Solutions, Inc
As my company is issuing the purchase order and will be making the payment
not Oakland Strokes.
The order has to be placed no later than this Weds. night to American Rugby.
This will secure arrival by May 7th or 8th.If family members also want one
you are welcome to add that to the order.

A little story: during my first year as a Strokes parent, I thought I'd just
drive up on Saturday of CJ's and find a room nearby. There seemed to be a
ton of hotels in the area. HAH! I ended up driving around with my mother for 3
hours that night and everything was booked for miles around. We ended up
having to stay in downtown Sacramento, which was very expensive and almost half
an hour away. Don't let this happen to you!
IF you are willing and able to chaperone, ALL groups still need chaperones.
Let me know asap if you are available. The team will be going up to Lake
Natoma Thursday evening and starting out with a group dinner at the Old Spaghetti
Factory (8pm). We need chaperones starting then but will also be happy with
people who can chaperone starting Friday.
If you are not chaperoning but want to go, we have a block of rooms reserved
for OS parents at the nearby Larkspur Landing Hotel. Contact Hannah ASAP!!!
if you want a room, and say you are with Oakland Strokes. It will NOT work
to ask for a room a week or two before the event; they will be gone. Her
