Dear Strokes Families:=20
The spring rowing season is here! Please join us to kick it off with =
the Spring Parent Meeting and Dinner this Sunday, 2/24/08, 3 p.m. =
(JLAC). Please respond to the Evite from David Weiland by 2/20 so we =
have a headcount for dinner. The meal will be a great time to time to =
talk with coaches and parents. Dinner is catered by the Glass Onion =
($15/person). Pay at event. Several families have already donated =
wine to serve at the event (Pfund-Polakoffs/Becks--thanks!), but please =
feel free to bring a bottle or another favorite beverage to share.=20
We are very close to meeting our goal of $100K net donations to obtain =
the match of an additional $40K! Thank you to everyone who donated. =
But if you haven't donated yet, there is still time!!!!! Check out =

a listing of some incredible auction offerings to take us across the =
finish line. For example: A LUXURY BOX at the Warriors for March 2, =
2008! Imagine you and your best 19 friends watching the Portland game =

over $2700, but you can't buy these sold out boxes! Other items =
include a week at a SunValley ski condo, a Santa Cruz vacation, wine, =
handmade orange and green quilts and other delightful items, including a =
chance for parents to row in an 8+ on the estuary on March 29, 2008. =
Treat yourself and the team at the same time! Even if you can't make =
