Hi everyone,
Just a few last minute details and reminders for Long Beach. We are
looking forward to a great weekend!!
* Athletes should meet at boathouse at 5:00-5:15pm Thursday with
luggage, ready to go. Buses will load at 5:30pm, depart at 6pm. THEY
NEED TO BRING SPENDING MONEY FOR DINNER ON THE ROAD, for THURSDAY AND
SUNDAY DINNERS. They often stop at an In/N-Out Burger so vegetarians/
lightweights/others who might not want that, may want to pack their
own food to go.
* They will be staying at: FAIRMONT NEWPORT BEACH

* If they bring a pillow it should be in a brightly -colored
pillowcase so it does not get mixed in with the hotel linens!
* Race food, lunches and snacks will be provided at the OS tent at the
course. There will be a team pasta dinner on Friday night, and BBQ at
the racecourse Saturday night.
* For parents flying in to John Wayne Airport, there is a FREE shuttle
to the Fairmont hotel. They have a courtesy phone at the airport.
* Chaperones will ride the buses with the team and there may be a few
extra spots for parents, but not guaranteed. Rental cars and
carpooling/ride shares are recommended.
