To All Oakland Strokes Athletes and Parents:
This is a reminder that all Oakland Strokes Athletes who plan to continue
rowing in January need to register and pay prior to January 4. Though some
of you may have already done this, many of you have not. If you have
already registered, you may ignore this e-mail. On January 4 the coaches
will be given a list of those athletes who have registered and paid, and
those who have not, so please register.
To register:
1. Go to www.regattacentral.com
2. Click the "Clubs" tab.
3. Scroll down to "Oakland Strokes"
4. Click "Show Details"
5. Click on the program for which you wish to register, and pay via
credit card. We are not really set up to receive payments via check, so
please pay via credit card at the time of registration.
6. Please verify all the info in your profile-presumably some e-mails
and cell phone numbers may need to be updated.
If you have problems logging in (you can't remember your user-id or
password which you used previously, or it isn't working), contact
support@regattacentral.com for help, or give them a call at 614-360-2922 and
ask for technical support and they can assist you. If you call and have to
leave a voice mail, they are generally very responsive and will return your
call relatively quickly. You may also contact them if you have other
problems with registration. The Regatta Central people are the ones to
contact if you have registration problems.
If your circumstances have changed and you need financial assistance for
Spring, please fill out and submit a financial assistance form. Financial
assistance forms may be downloaded by clicking HERE

form.
Also on the registration website there is an opportunity to make your annual
charitable donation to the team. This donation is tax deductible to the
fullest extent allowable by law and your personal circumstances. Except in
cases of financial hardship each family is generally expected to contribute
a minimum of $500 to the team. Many of you have already made a donation,
and received your discount on the winter tuition as is appropriate to the
level of your contribution. We thank you. For those of you have not yet
done so, this is your opportunity! If you are contributing on a level which
will trigger a discount ($2500 gets a 100% discount off of Spring Fees),
please make the donation in the name of the athlete which you want to
receive the discount. If you do this, the discount will be applied
automatically when you register and pay.
Please register by January 3 to avoid additional e-mails.
