Dear Oakland Strokes family -=A0
We are so very proud of Kelly and Barbara and all that they have accomplish=
ed in winning the Nationals as a pair!!! We could not be at the Nationals u=
nfortunately, but we got the news from Barb and from Bill Fehr (thanks!!!) =
for each event as the weekend unfolded. We are also grateful that the Bauer=
s were there and added their support for the girls and for the Strokes.=A0W=
e want to send a giant thank you to the entire organization for their suppo=
rt and their encouragement =A0 =A0 . We appreciate that the girls got the c=
hance to row in Long Beach and that Ian spent so much time and effort in tr=
aining and working with them. Ian is absolutely amazing in his support, his=
 knowledge, and his encouragement. We are grateful to him for all he has ta=
ught Barb! We are also grateful for having the chance to be a part of such =
a wonderful organization, the Oakland Strokes. I know Barb was thrilled to =
win, but she was especially thrilled to win as a member of the Strokes
 team! As she said at the awards ceremony, the Oakland Strokes mean so much=
 to her and have taught her so much. As her mom and dad, we could not agree=
